In a statement written by Audible Treats, “Beeda Weeda has established himself as one of the most promising rising rappers from The Bay Area. In doing so, he’s also garnered the support of The Bay’s most loved legends, including Too $hort and E-40.”
A child of the Hyphy Age, Beeda wasn’t necesarily considered a “hyphy artist” but was at the forefront of Bay Area music during the Hyphy Movement. For the quintessential hyphy video that started it all, Beeda helped E-40 secure locations, cars, and people to shoot “Tell Me When To Go.”
Beeda himself had one of the biggest local radio hits and street singles at that time called “Turf’s Up.” Beeda’s upcoming album, Too $hort Presents: Beeda Weeda’s Bass Rock Babies, is due to drop on August 19th and features Too $hort, E-40, Richie Rich, B-Legit, J Stalin, Clyde Carson, 1.O.A.K., Gunplay, Young Gully and more.
